Make animated type, shapes, charts or explainers that you can revise without generating new footage for every change. You need a connected chat account, a message to communicate, and any logos, fonts or data the piece should use. Voyager can prepare a local motion project for you; the first use of a tool may require downloads. You can also use a supported creative app you already have set up. Text and shapes rendered locally do not use media credits. Your chat account’s usage still applies, and chat through Voyager models uses Voyager credits. Generated images, music or narration are separate paid additions.

Build the first draft

1

Describe the content through time

Say what the audience should understand, then describe the main beats. Include exact wording, duration, shape and any visual references.
You can choose Motion graphics or explainer under Making:, or simply describe the piece.
2

Supply brand assets and data

Attach the actual logo and any required fonts or images. For a chart, attach the data and name the comparison you want viewers to understand. A project’s brand kit can supply shared colors, fonts and logos. If the work must stay in a particular editor, name it. Otherwise, Voyager chooses a suitable available tool. Installed creative apps can have their own licenses and setup requirements.
3

Review layout and motion

Open the preview or video the agent presents. Check the design while paused, then watch it in motion. Look for readable text, useful pauses and transitions that connect the ideas.

A playable draft lets you judge the timing as well as the layout.

4

Revise the specific beat

Give the time or attach a review comment. Describe both the change and what to keep:
5

Ask for the finished files

When the draft is right, ask the agent to render the final video and show its editable source. Name the destination and format, especially for transparent overlays or a particular publishing platform.Use Save video or the reveal action on the finished result. Set Delivery folder in Settings → Creative preferences if you want final files in a particular place.

Preview before rendering

Some workflows can show an interactive preview before making the final video. If you receive a preview, you can ask for changes before requesting the rendered file. For Remotion and HyperFrames, the optional Settings → Labs → Review compositions live setting lets you scrub and comment on the composition in Files. It is experimental and off by default. Start a new chat after enabling it if an existing chat does not offer the workflow. With it enabled, ask for the final render when you approve the composition.

Keep control of time and cost

Set Render time limit under Settings → Creative preferences → Ask before exceeding. The agent estimates longer local renders before proceeding.
Adding generated artwork, video, music or narration can introduce media charges. Ask for an estimate before adding them and check your question-answer mode. Autopilot can approve the recommended paid work immediately.
For another size, ask the agent to adapt the layout for that shape. For example, ask for a vertical version with repositioned titles instead of a crop that cuts off the words.

Check the result

Play the exported video outside Voyager. Check spelling, timing, edges and the final held frame. Confirm that the editable source is available in Files so you can request future changes.

Common problems

Clarify that you want editable type and shapes with local rendering. Name Remotion if you want to follow the simple workflow in your first video, and say whether any paid media generation is allowed.
Ask the agent to render the approved composition into the format you need. An interactive preview and a rendered video are different outputs.
Ask for a short or lower-resolution draft first, or simplify the most expensive effects. Set your Render time limit so the agent asks before a longer render. Check Jobs before starting it again.
Linux alpha may need WebM when MP4 encoding is unavailable. Tell the agent your required delivery format and ask it to check what this computer supports. See platform requirements.
