When you finish, Voyager knows which creative apps you have, and the agent uses them for the jobs they’re best at. This is step 3 of 5, Creative apps. It’s optional.
Before you start
  • Nothing is required. If you don’t have any creative apps, Voyager’s agent still makes videos with open tools such as Remotion and FFmpeg, which come with Voyager.
  • Voyager uses the apps you already have, with your own licences. It doesn’t install or buy apps for you.
  • Platform: the agent can drive Adobe apps live only on macOS today. Some apps, such as DaVinci Resolve, need a setting turned on inside the app first.

Review your apps

1

Wait for Voyager to look for apps

The step opens with a short animation of the agent working in an editor. Under it, the Apps section fills in as Voyager looks for creative apps on your computer. The Continue button reads Finding apps… until it’s done.
The Creative apps step titled Creative apps, with the line Voyager can connect to over 100 creative apps. A video of a timeline editor sits above an Apps section that reads No creative apps found yet. The agent uses open tools such as Remotion and FFmpeg. A note says You can update these anytime in Settings → Connectors. The Creative apps step titled Creative apps, with the line Voyager can connect to over 100 creative apps. The Creative apps step. Here no apps were found, so the agent will use its open tools.

2

Check each app's status

Each app Voyager found has a row with its name, what it’s for (for example video or 3D), and a status on the right:If nothing was found, the section says No creative apps found yet. That’s fine: the agent uses its open tools instead.
3

Set up an app that needs it (optional)

Click Set up on the app’s row. The row opens and tells you exactly what to change inside that app, for example a setting in its preferences.Make the change in the app, then click Check again. When the app is ready, the row shows Connected. Not now? Leave it. The row also says Or set it up later in Connectors.
4

Click Continue

Click Continue. Voyager saves which app to use for each kind of job, so the agent doesn’t have to ask you in every chat. An installed app you set up is preferred over Voyager’s open tools. Choices you saved earlier are kept.If anything needs to download or finish setting up, Voyager does it in the background and shows a message such as Setting up … in the background. You can follow progress in the sidebar, under Apps.

Change your apps later

Go to Settings → Connectors to see every app Voyager supports, set up an app you skipped, choose which app does each job, or stop the agent from using an app.

Check it worked

  • Apps you set up show Connected or Detected.
  • The setup bar shows a check next to Creative apps, and you’re on Permissions.

If something went wrong

Voyager lists apps it can drive and finds in their usual install location. Click Continue, then open Settings → Connectors to find the app and see what it needs. If you installed the app while setup was open, restart Voyager so it looks again.
Make sure the app is open and the change is saved, then click Check again. Some apps only pick up a setting after you restart them.
Click Continue again. If it keeps failing, quit and reopen Voyager. Your setup is already saved, so Voyager opens normally, and you can choose your apps in Settings → Connectors.

Next: Permissions and privacy

Choose whether Voyager can see and control your screen, and set your privacy switches.
