Describe an image, a single moving shot or a finished video, and let Voyager turn the request into media you can review and revise. You need a connected chat account and a generation provider that supports the work. Bring your own media keys, which need no Voyager plan, or use Voyager credits from a plan. Your Claude or ChatGPT does not pay for generated media. See current pricing.
Generating images, clips, audio and new takes can cost money. Still images used to plan an animation can also cost money. Set Question answers to Always ask if you want to review each question yourself, and read approvals and spending before starting.

Generate an image

1

Describe the picture and its use

Include the subject, setting, style and shape. If you need an exact size, transparent background or particular model, say so.
2

Attach and explain references

Use Add attachment → Attach files, or reference a project file with @. Give each reference a purpose: the actual product, the desired lighting, the composition, or the image to edit. For an edit, identify what should change and what should remain. “Remove the object on the left; keep the subject, lighting and framing” is more precise than “clean this up.”
3

Review the result

Open the image and inspect the important details. Check the subject, product shape, spelling and crop. Send a specific correction in the same chat, referring to that image. When it is ready, right-click it and choose Save image, or use the reveal action to locate the file.
For a design with exact words or a logo, tell Voyager that the picture and layout both matter. It can build the lettering and layout around the image instead of relying on generated lettering alone.

Make a video from several shots

1

Describe the story and delivery

Give the audience, length, shape, sequence of ideas and audio needs. Name any footage or stills that should be reused.
2

Approve the look in stills

For a new video with multiple shots, Voyager’s workflow starts with a still for each shot before animation. Review composition, subject identity and consistency across the set.The approval question offers Approve and animate or Change the overall direction, where you type the new direction in the same card. The animation option includes an estimated cost and time. To revise only some shots, flag each still with Redo and add an optional note on what to change.

Approving the look before animation helps avoid paying to animate an unwanted direction.

Choose Always ask to keep this question waiting for you. Balanced can accept a recommended answer after its countdown when it does not exceed your spend limit. Autopilot accepts it immediately, including above-limit spend.
3

Follow generation and assembly

After approval, Voyager animates the approved stills and assembles the requested video. Open Jobs to see progress. Waiting for a free slot is queueing, not a reason to start the job again.

Jobs shows active and queued work while your video is being made.

4

Review the finished cut

Play the assembled result, including its sound if requested. Check shot order, continuity, pacing and text.Use review comments to request changes. Say which shots to keep so the agent can reuse approved work. New generations may cost more; an edit that reuses existing clips can avoid new media generation.
For one fully described clip, you can ask directly. If you supply a still to animate, describe how it should move and what must remain unchanged. These requests do not necessarily need a separate still-approval stage. Avoid asking Voyager to skip approvals if you want to review the look first.

Control which generation account is used

Open Settings → Accounts → Generation providers to check connections and their order.
With Automatic fallback on, if a provider is out of credits, rejects its sign-in or is down, Voyager tries the next one in your list. That may bill a different account. You can turn fallback off, or ask the agent to pin a provider for the job.
For example: “Use only my FAL account for these shots; stop if it cannot run.” A model you name and an account you want billed are different choices, so state both when both matter.

Check the result

The agent should present the final image or assembled video in the chat. Open it at a useful size, check the details, and save or reveal the file. Keep the source stills and clips if you expect more revisions.

Common problems

Chat and media use separate accounts. Connect your own supported media provider or check your Voyager plan and credits under Settings → Accounts. See generation providers.
Ask the agent to check the existing job before making a fresh attempt. A delayed or missing result does not prove that the provider did no work. Follow generation troubleshooting.
Voyager can reuse an identical earlier generation instead of paying for it again. If you want a different take, ask for a new take explicitly and review its cost.
Ask for the assembled video, with the shot order, pacing and audio you want. A completed generation job can be one part of the finished piece.
