Create a project, keep related chats together, and share a brief, brand and files across your work.
Use a chat to work through a request. Use a project to keep related chats, files and finished outputs together. For example, a launch project might hold one chat for a teaser, another for product images, and a third for social cutdowns. They use the same project folder, brief and brand kit.You can start with New chat without creating a project. Voyager gives that chat its own folder on your first send and lists it under Recents.
In the sidebar, find Projects and click Add project. You can also use the project chooser above a new chat and select New project.
2
Name the work and choose its folder
Fill in Name. Use What are you making? for a short brief: the outcome, audience, look and anything to avoid.Leave Folder empty to use the suggested new folder, or choose the folder you want to work in. If you have a brand kit, choose it under Brand kit; otherwise you can leave it unset.Click Create.
The name, brief, folder and optional brand kit give the project its starting context.
3
Start the first chat
Send a request from the project page’s message box. Voyager opens a chat in that project. To start another, use the + beside the project in the sidebar, or choose the project when starting a new chat. Continue the same chat for revisions to its existing work.
Click the project name in the sidebar to open its page. In Context, click Add or Edit and write the information every chat should know.
We're making a launch campaign for Northwind, a small outdoor brand.Audience: people planning their first weekend camping trip.Keep the tone welcoming and practical. Use the project brand kit.Avoid extreme-sports imagery and unverified product claims.
The brief saves automatically. Every new chat in the project starts with it. Keep piece-specific instructions, such as one video’s timing, in that chat’s request.
Use Context for the shared brief, and Outputs to return to finished work.
The Brand kit card holds the project’s visual identity. Editor preferences lets you choose apps for this project’s work. Outputs brings together files the agent has delivered, including their versions.
Click the sidebar’s search icon for Search chats. Expand a project to see its chats; Recents contains chats without a project.Right-click a chat for its actions:
Action
When to use it
Pin thread
Keep a chat easy to reach under Pinned.
Rename thread
Give it a more useful name.
Move to project
Put the chat into the appropriate project. Choose No project to take it out of a project.
Snooze
Put it aside until the chosen time; look under Snoozed to find it.
Archive thread
Remove it from the sidebar while keeping the chat in Settings → Archive.
The chat menu includes Move to project when you want to organize work you already started.
Your project should appear in Projects, with its chats underneath. Open its page to check the Context and delivered Outputs. Use … → Copy folder path when you need the project folder’s location.
Right-click it, choose Move to project, and select the intended project. When starting the next chat, check the project chooser before sending.
Renaming the project did not rename its folder
Renaming changes the project name in Voyager. The folder stays at its existing location. Use Copy folder path to find it.
The output is missing from the project page
Ask the agent to present the finished file as an output. Files can contain drafts and working files that do not appear in Outputs.
Remove project, under … → Project settings, deletes the project entry and its chats. It leaves files on disk, but it is not a way to hide a project temporarily. Use Archive thread to put individual chats away while keeping their history.
Write a request
Turn the project brief into a concrete first task.
