Routines run a prompt for you on a schedule: a nightly render of the current cut, a Monday roundup of new footage, a reminder to review drafts. The Activity page shows everything Voyager made, rendered or downloaded across all your chats in the last 7 days.

Create a routine

The quickest way is to ask in any chat: “Every Monday at 9 AM, look through this project’s newest footage and suggest a rough cut.” The agent sets it up for you. To set one up yourself:
1

Open Routines

Press ⌘ K (Ctrl K) and choose Open routines. Then click New routine.
2

Say what it does

Give it a Name and write the Prompt, just as you would in a chat.
3

Choose when

Under When, choose Once and a date and time, or Schedule with a preset such as Every weekday at 9:00 AM or Every hour, or Custom time… and Custom interval…. Next runs shows when it will run.
4

Choose where results go

Pick a Project. Under Results go to, keep New conversation each run (recommended), or choose Continue a conversation. Pick a Model.
5

Save it

Click Create routine.
Routines run only while Voyager is running. If Voyager is closed or your computer is asleep at the scheduled time, that run is missed. When Voyager starts again, each routine catches up once if a run was missed in the last few hours. On a Mac, closing the window keeps Voyager running in the Dock; quitting stops routines. On Windows and Linux, closing the last window quits Voyager, so minimize it instead.
Each run can use credits, just like the same request in a chat. If a run needs your approval, it waits in its conversation; if nobody answers in time, it stops as Timed out. To let runs finish unattended, change the project’s permissions as described in Approvals and spending.

Manage routines

The Routines page lists each routine with its next run and its last result. Filter by project, or by Active, Paused and Needs attention.
  • Use the switch to turn a routine on or off.
  • Run now runs it straight away.
  • Under More actions: Edit, History, Open last conversation and Delete routine.
History shows every run, including missed and skipped ones and why. A routine pauses itself after 3 failed runs in a row, or when its conversation or project is gone. The page says why; fix the cause and turn it back on. A project’s menu in the sidebar shows Scheduled tasks when the project has routines, and opens them filtered to that project.

Check the Activity page

The Activity tray shows work that’s running now. The Activity page keeps the last 7 days, from every chat. Clearing the tray never removes anything here. To open it, click View all activity in the tray, choose View → Activity in the menu bar, or press ⌘ ⌥ A (Ctrl Alt A). Search titles and prompts, or filter by:
  • Kind: Generations, Flow runs, Renders & exports, Downloads and Setup downloads.
  • State: Running and queued, Needs you, Failed or unknown, Stopped and Finished.
  • Project and Conversation.
From a row you can open the result, Stop work that’s running, or Retry something that failed. Retry shows its cost first.

Common problems

Voyager wasn’t running, or your computer was asleep, at the scheduled time. Keep Voyager open (minimized is fine) at the times your routines run.
Open History to see the error, for example a model that isn’t available. Fix it, then turn the routine back on.
The page keeps 7 days. Older results are still in their chat and in your project’s files.
