# Connect tools and services

> Connect Figma, Frame.io, Notion, Dropbox and other services to Voyager, or add any MCP tool server by its address.

Connect the services you already use so the agent can work with them: read a brief in Notion, pull files from Dropbox, check comments in Frame.io or look at a Figma design. Everything lives in **Apps & Models → Apps**.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Before you start:** Figma needs you signed in to your Voyager account. Each service uses your own account with that service, so you need one there too.

## Connect a listed service

**1. Open Apps**

Click **Apps & Models** in the sidebar and choose the **Apps** tab. Use the chips, such as **Design**, **Video** or **Libraries & files**, or search.

**2. Open the service and click Connect**

Click the service's tile. For most services, click **Connect**, sign in on the service's own site, and pick what Voyager can see.

**3. Ask for something**

Back in a chat, ask: "Read the brief in our Notion launch page and suggest three title cards."

Services you'll find there include:

* **Figma**: design files and live edits. Connect your Figma account, and optionally the Figma desktop app.
* **Frame.io**: review links and comments. Click **Connect** and approve in your browser.
* **Notion**, **Canva**, **Dropbox** and **Airtable**: connect in one step on their own sites.
* **Google Drive**, **OneDrive**, **Box**, **Vimeo** and **YouTube**: Voyager sets these up with you in a chat.
* **Roblox** and **Freesound**: add your API key on the tile. Voyager uses Roblox when you upload to Roblox, and Freesound for sound effects.
* Free asset libraries, such as **Poly Haven**, **ambientCG**, **Kenney**, **game-icons.net** and **Incompetech**, are **Built into Voyager**. There's nothing to set up.

The **Connected** chip shows everything you've connected. **Needs attention** shows anything that needs you to sign in again or replace a token.

## Add a service that isn't listed

**1. Click Add an app or service**

It's at the top of the **Apps** tab.

**2. Type its name**

If Voyager lists it, click it. If not, choose **Set up "…" with Voyager**. Voyager looks the service up and asks you a few questions in a chat.

**3. Finish in the chat**

Paste any keys the agent asks for into the secure field it shows you, not into the message. When setup is done, the service shows under **Added by you** with a **Connected** status.

Keys you add are saved in this computer's secure storage. Open the service under **Added by you** to see its sign-in details, check the connection, or **Remove service**.

## Add an MCP server

An MCP server is a tool server that gives the agent new tools. If a service gives you an MCP address, add it directly. **Settings → Advanced → MCP** brings you to the same place.

**1. Open the tool server form**

In **Apps & Models → Apps**, click **Add an app or service**, then **Add a tool server by its address**.

**2. Fill it in**

Give it a **Name**. Under **Connect with**, choose **An address** and paste the server's **Address**. For a server that runs as a program on your computer, choose **A command on this computer** and enter the **Command** and its arguments.

**3. Choose how it signs in**

Open **More options**. Under **Sign-in**, choose **On its site** to sign in through your browser, **Access token** to paste a token the service gave you, or **None**.

**4. Pick projects and add it**

Under **Projects**, keep **Every project on this computer** or choose specific projects. Click **Add server**. If it signs in on its site, finish signing in on the page that opens.

Open the server's tile to turn **Use in chats** on or off, see its tools and untick any you don't want the agent to use, **Check** the connection, **Sign in again**, or **Remove** it.

## Check it worked

The tile shows **Connected**. Start a chat and ask the agent to use the service by name.

## Common problems

> [accordion] A tile says Needs you to sign in
>
> The service signed you out. Open the tile and click **Sign in again** (or **Reconnect**).

> [accordion] A tool server says it needs a new access token
>
> The token expired or was revoked. Open the tile, choose **Edit**, and paste a new token in **Access token**.

> [accordion] Voyager can't reach a tool server
>
> Check the address and your internet connection, then click **Check again**. If you don't use it any more, remove it.

> [accordion] Figma desktop isn't answering
>
> Open a design file in the Figma desktop app, switch to Dev Mode (<kbd>Shift</kbd> <kbd>D</kbd>), and turn on the desktop server in the inspect panel. Your Figma account needs access to Dev Mode.
